1 Hook/Attention Getter

Activity: Conversing

I showed a piece of student's artwork that I borrowed from their art class and telling the whole class how I like and would like to take it home and have it framed and display on my wall. I intentionally acknowledged the wrong owner of the piece of artwork.

Students naturally corrected who is the real owner and then discussions followed by asking them what did they feel when (both the real owner and the wrong person). Asking the whole class what will they feel if someone used their work and pretended to be its their's.

Student Instructions

Students are grouped and asked to discuss ways how to take ownership and recognized other people's work.
