TSW learn the outcomes for using digital storytelling in their classrooms and be able to create their own lesson to integrate ELA and science/S.S. in order to have their students create a digital story of their own.

2 Direct Instruction

TTW demonstrate how to use Educreations & Book Maker to create digital books in the classroom.


3 Guided Practice

Activity: Creating

TSW have time to explore using various apps such as educreateions, story maker, lego story maker, and explain everything.

4 Independent Practice

Activity: Creating

Using the lesson plan template, teachers will create an integrated lesson plan in which students create stories, develop a plan, sketch, find, or take pictures, and add text or voice over.

5 Wrap- Up

Activity: Presenting

Digital stories that the teachers created during guided practice will be shared and lesson ideas will be shared in a google file as well.
