Lesson Plan


Teaching students the value of pre-production, how to draw/ create a storyboard and its importance toward making a quality video project.

Students will be able to... open and read a shared google document about storyboarding. Apply what they learn and use the application storyboards to create and annotate their stories. They will then share their completed storyboards on our class network dropping their assignment in a class designated folder.

1 Knowledge

Students will be provided with a Google document with steps on how to create a storyboard and a summary of the purpose for storyboarding.

2 Comprehension

Activity: Drawing

Students will be given a blank paper copy of a storyboard which they will then draw in to create their own short stories.

3 Application

Students will take what they learned about storyboarding and use their paper copy as a guide to then create a digital copy of their storyboard on the Storyboards app.

4 Analysis

Google+ Communities -- Students will screen shot their storyboards and post the screen shot to the private class google plus community wall.

Students will complete a short quiz to demonstrate  what they learned on material in Socrative.
