1 What's Your Plan?

Show students an episode of Shark Tank from YouTube and ask them to identify what makes a good product or business. 

Create an assignment in Google Classroom for students to create a business plan using either a document or presentation.


2 Make it Happen!

Review Canva- create a teacher account and follow this lesson plan: https://designschool.canva.com/teaching-materials/market-product/   (make sure all students are 13+).  

3 What's Your URL?

Have students plan and create a website for the business/product they developed in Step 2 using Google Sites. 

Have them include  the following pages:

  • Home Page
  • ​Product or Services Provided
  • Contact Information

and one or two of the pages listed below:

  • Detailed information about one product/service sold by the company
  • Research to back up your product claims
  • Ordering information
  • Customer service statement
  • Other- with approval from teacher


4 The Pitch

Have students make commercials to advertise their products/businesses using WeVideo

5 Wrap it Up

Free, Paid

Have students compile all of their information into a Schoology Profile and Share the link with classmates.  Classmates can then look at and give feedback to each other.
