Series and Parallel Circuits
Students will be helping the people at Light-Weight Enterprises to solve a problem with their lights. Students will research types of circuits and in the end, they will determine which is best. Teachers will introduce the students to the webquest here:
2 Direct Instruction
Teacher will review all of the components of the webquest before the students start.
3 Guided Practice
Students will work through the webquest with a partner. They will be investigating different types of circuits and determine which on will solve the "string of lights" problem.
4 Independent Practice
Students will create the poster explained in the webquest. They will also create a QR code that links users to a video or more information about series and parallel circuits. These codes will be placed on their posters when they are on display around the school.
Students will present their posters to the class. The audience will look for consistencies within presentations.
