Students will use writing, technology, and some some marketing strategies to sell the classes' plants to the teachers at Huntington High.

1 Hook

Students will be introduced to the various words and concepts that they will use through out the marketing lesson. Students will assist the teach in developing a word cloud combining art and computer technology.

2 Direct Instruction

The teacher and students will use the Coffee Shop program in the Cool Math Website. The class will name the company, purchase supplies, create recipes, and set prices for their Coffee Shop.

3 Guided Practice

The students will download pictures from the various stages of the plants growing in the greenhouse as well as various pictures from around the school with the assistance from the teacher. 

4 Independent Practice

Students will complete a project template or creative maker activity pertaining to pictures and ideas about our classes' plant/ sale project.  

5 Wrap-Up

Activity: Presenting

Students will present their projects to the class to vote upon the winner for the classes' marketing project.  The winning project and/or idea will be shown and used through out the school for the plant sale.
