1 What zone am I in?

Using the zones of regulation start students off by identifying what it is like to be in the green zone.  Ready to learn and feeling calm.  You can go through the app as a whole class (display on the projector) or use as a station activity or target students.  It's good to do this as a whole class in the beginning so everyone understands the language

2 Getting to Green

What happens when we go red? How do we find our way back to green?  Use the calm counter app to get students from frustration back into ready to learn mode or use the settle to glitter as a different app to help frustrated students get back to green.

3 Time Me

Time Timer

As students become better at identifying zones they are in you can time them to get back to green.  I find that when the triggers are small and they can breathe their way back to green, using a timer to see how long it takes can be quite motivating - can they beat their time back to task?
