1 Direct instruction

Students start with watching the brain pop video on the rock cycle. 

2 Rock Cycle Reading

Activity: Reading

Students are presented readings on the rock cycle in small groups they need to read and then write the steps of the rock cycle with their groups. 

3 Singing

Students watch the study jams sing along video and sing the words to learn more about the rock cycle.

4 Independent practice

Activity: Drawing

Students draw their own diagram of the rock cycle in their notebooks.
