1 ATTENTION GETTER
Students will create a small booklet to write down their summary of their research.
Teacher will supply students with A3 papers, and students will fold the paper to create a small booklet (students will learn some folding techniques).
2 DIRECT INSTRUCTION
Teacher will specify the learning outcome of the research the students will be doing.
Teacher will specify the questions the students will be researching on, such as what is a government and what are different types of governments.
Students will pick 2 types of government to research on and fill their booklet with the summary.
3 GUIDED PRACTICE
student will inquire into what is a web browser and what is a search tool. The difference between panels in the research results.
Students will also be exposed to different websites extension and they will inquire into the differences in them.
4 INDEPENDENT PRACTICE
After making sure students know the basics of researching, students will have ipads to perform their research.
Students will write down on the booklet they did earlier the information they collected from their research session.
5 Wrap up
After answering all the questions and when the booklet is ready, students will scan their booklet and make it digital.
