1 What is plagiarism?

Have students research the legal definition of plagiarism and determine if there are any acceptable conditions that allow for it.

Use Internet and print resources to legally define "plagiarism."

Extension Question: Is there any possible case in which plagiarism may be acceptable? What are they? Give an example.
