1 Hook

Day 1

Movie:  This Is America

Class will view this movie learning facts about several national parks.

 

2 Activity

Teacher will move around and assist students as needed.

 

Student Instructions

Day 2 – Day 4 

SW conduct a virtual camping trip to Mount Rainier National Park using the internet and Google expeditions.

SW create a journal consisting of 3 days of activities they did on their virtual visit.

JOURNAL DIRECTIONS:

  • Daily entries must be at least 1 typed page long. 
  • Describe in detail the things you saw and the things you did.
  • Explain how things get done. What procedures did you take?
  • You must include family members in your activities.
  • Entries start when you wake up and end when you go to bed in your tent.
  • Specifically name any group tours you take.
  • Include a 2 inch picture with each entry.

 

3 Share

Activity: Conversing

Teacher will have students pair and share their "experiences".  Teacher chooses a few students to share with the class.

Students will share with each other then some will share with the class.
