Students  explore the user interface  of Code.org's features and functionality as part of their first Mission  of  learning coding.

Students will learn about the concept of coding and how fun and easy it is to do so.

1 First Steps into Coding

The teacher introduces the concept of coding by providing examples of our daily life at school such as how to wash hands, sit down properly, or just to line up. Explain that following instructions is a form of coding.

Then, the teacher explains that computers do not understand English , Japanese or Korean, they understand Computer language also known as coding. A finished set of instructions or codes is called a program. 

 

   

 

Student Instructions

introduce Code.org to students. Explain that they need to complete a number of instructions in order to move to the next level.

Star wars coding is a great beginning for 6 years old students.
