Once the teacher has a class code enter it.

Make sure you put in your real name, so the teacher can help you.

2 Directed Instruction

Depending on your class, you can work through the website as a class or allow students to review at their own pace.

There are 10 revision questions to finish the section to encourage students to confirm their understanding.

Student Instructions

Review the content at http://www.mathsisfun.com/algebra/exponents-logarithms.html

Take your own notes (you learn more when you write than when you read!)

Once you are comfortable with the content, attempt the 10 questions at the end of the page.

3 Guided Practise

Develop the vocabulary about Logarithmic Functions by playing Polygraph (like Guess Who, but with Log Functions rather than faces)

Log into: https://teacher.desmos.com/polygraph/custom/560ad29058fd074d156300af

Monitor student vocabulary, to encourage the most accurate and insightful questions. Note that the system automatically matches students as they log in.

Student Instructions

Log into student.desmos.com

Your teacher will provide you with a class code for your activity.

Consider: why would my accurate vocabulary be important for this activity?

4 Wrap Up

Start a Kahoot Quiz to confirm students understand the content.
