1 Part #1- Independent Project

For this project, students will be working individually and collaboratively to create persuasive medias through propaganda techniques. The ultimate goal for this project is to create a class webpage defining the importance of appropriate technology use in the classroom.

PART #1- Independent Project

You will be researching and creating a piece of persuasion- specific to propaganda and one of the techniques discussed in class. Within your group (divided by device) please decide WHO wants to create the following for their independent project. There will only be one of the below medias, and one of the below propaganda types for each group, each product. Please decide amongst yourselves who is taking on which task & type of propaganda.  

2 Part #2- Collaborative Project

This project will emphasize the appropriate use of technology in a classroom. You will be researching using credible, reliable, accurate sources that will allow you to create propaganda promoting your technology as the best technology for a student and school.  The research will be based on one of the following devices, and the capabilities as related to classroom and academic usage:

Apple iPad

Google Chrome Book

Acer Netbooks

Cell Phones- Smart Phone Specific  

Amazon Kindle and/or Kindle Fire

PART #2- Collaborative Project

You will be collaborating with your peers to create a video commercial piece of propaganda to promote your product in regards to its’ usage in the classroom. Your commercial must meet the following requirements:

30-60 seconds in length
include the techniques of loaded words, misuse of statistics and testimonial
promote your product in a POSITIVE nature in regards to classroom technology usage
Use video equipment and video editing software (iMovie or video camera with editing software ability)
