1 Préparation à l'écoute

Activity: Conversing

Have students pair up to ask and answer questions about their eating habits. Depending on the level of the class, you might have the class brainstorm possible questions as you scribe them on the front board. This is a great opportunity to review/recycle food groups, quantities with questions such as, "Combien de produits laitiers prenez-vous en général ? " 

 

This video focuses mostly on sugar content, so you may want to be sure to include questions about their sugar intake and even questions ranking which items they think have the most sugar (from list of foods by food group: different items in the carbohydrate group, different dairy products, different fruits and/or vegetables, for example)

Distribute the student response page to students on paper OR via Google Drive. Note that they will need a way to access the link to the video for this activity. Also note that the students are only expected to watch three very short segments of this video. The time frames are indicated on the response page.

3 Partager vos idées

Invite students to encourage their peers to practice healthy eathing habits by making a video or other (multi-)media presentation. Share their presentations via a group social media page.
