1 Hook

Activity: Conversing

Teacher asks students to come up with some ideas on how to keep safe while online.  

Student Instructions

What are some ways to protect yourself while online?  share some ideas with other at your tables.  

2 Direction Insturction

Activity: Conversing

Teacher shares on interactive whiteboard the ideas shared by students.  

Student Instructions

Groups share with the class some of the ideas gathered about keeping safe online.  

3 Independent Work

Instructions:  Teacher creates an assignment for the class in BrainPop.  Using BrainPop Jr. students will view video on Internet Safety, take the easy quiz, complete the draw about it and write about it sections.  Students can complete at their own pace.  The students work can be submitted to assess their understanding.  How students access BrainPop depends on your own school.

Complete the assignments in order as assigned.  

Submit Quiz, Draw it and Write About It to the teacher.
