Activity: Presenting

Use visuals of polluted beach water, rip currents and swimmers itch to engage students for the rest of the lesson.

Have students draw on Google Earth or Google Maps to digitally draw the potential hazards they could encounter on their favorite beach.

4 Independent Practice

Activity: Presenting

Students will get into small groups to create a presentation on what they have learned about hazards and how to avoid them. They will also share additional resources they have found. The groups will then each present their presentation.
