How do I find X?
This website talks about how to solve an equation. It works as both a review for what we have already learned in the class before and how it applies later on.
2 Direct Instruction
The website has multiple different topics that could be chosen from to help teach or encourage learning in students while working on a certain topic. There are multiple videos that demonstrate how to work through problems. There are also articles for them to read to help them understand how to work out problems if they do better at reading for understanding.
3 Guided Practice
Here, I can create quizes for the students where they can "play" and compete with the other students from the class at the same time to try and get a better score then them. Also with the quiz, it allows me to go through the quizes when necessary to make sure that they have an understanding of the topic.
4 Independent Practice
along with having students do problems out of the book, I would have them do work on Khan Academy so they can work on the problem and get answers then and there. It also provides them with a way to review information if they need it so they can understand the material better.
This is another quiz website that allows me to view the progress that my students have on the topic. It gives me a chance to see if they students are understanding the main topics that are given to them and also provide feed back to me about how many people are understanding the topic or not without having to assign a quiz in class for a grade.
