Objectives

Students will be able to...

  • Identify and define all of the "HEALTH TERMS" covered in Lessons 1-3 .
  • Demonstrate and give examples of how the "HEALTH CONCEPTS" in Lessons 1-3 can directly affect your life, your ability to take responsibility for your health, and how to limit the risk facts by the choices you make in life.
  • Reflect on how heredity, environment, and culture have had an influences on your health.
  • Demonstrate and give examples of how your behavior, choices, and decisions affect your health.
  • Finish the finial draft of the scripts and develop a storyboard for the video about "The Day In The Life Of A Teen" covering the health concepts (behavior, decisions, and choices).

  • Engage in an assessment that will reflect the knowledge taught in the Lessons 1-3.

  • Read study guide before taking the Unit 1 Test.
