Objectives

Students will be able to...

  • Identify and define all of the "HEALTH TERMS" (health skills, communication, refusal skills, self-esteem,  and stress)
  • Demonstrate and give examples of the "HEALTH CONCEPTS" covered in Chapter 2 - Lesson 1 .
  • Develop good communication skills and build self-esteem to achieve total health and wellness skills.
  • Demonstrate and give examples of how evaluating messages from the various media can help you make informed healthful choices.
  • Finish the finial draft of the scripts and develop a storyboard for the video about "The Day In The Life Of A Teen" covering the health concepts (behavior, decisions, and choices).
  • Engage in an assessment that will reflect the knowledge taught in the Lessons 1
