Introduce Instagram and share pre-made examples on how to create a video.
Today, you are going to create your own video using Instagram to show your learning that you have gained about fractions.
Before you begin, please pay particular to the examples that I will share. If you have any questions, write it down on a post-it note and we will review all fractions at the end.
2 Independent Practice
Give students the rest of the period to create their own video using Instagram. They will include any aspect that they learned about fractions.
At this time, you are going to spend the rest of the period creating your video on fractions. You may use yourself, paper, and any fractions manipulatives that are available in our classroom.
I will be around to answer any questions that you may have. Be as creative as you can be!
Take the last 10 minutes of class to give students a chance to share their video if they would like.
Now that we have ten minutes left in class, I am going to give anyone that would like a chance to share their video to do that now!
