Easy to use and free standards-based grading tool for teachers.
1 Getting Started with JumpRope
The first step in using JumpRope for standards-based grading is creating an account. When creating an account, you will need to decide what type of grading system you will use. They have a few different options. Once your account is created, you can create your classes and input your students. Once your classes are created, you can begin planning your units. Your unit plans can be broad topics; for example, reading, writing, ancient China, persuasive writing, scientific method, multiplying fractions, ratios and proportions, etc. Within your broad units, you can enter the more specific assignments like classwork, tests, homework, projects, etc. Once your unit and assignments are created, you can input student grades, leave comments about their work on specific assignments, and print progress reports for parents.
