1 Set up class a "Room" in Todaysmeet.com

If you don't already have one, set up a "room" on Todaysmeet.com. You can choose what name, and how long the room will exist. You'll want to give this URL to students for the activity.

If you have multiple sections, you may choose to do separate rooms for each class, or combine them ( I prefer separate)

2 Todaysmeet tutorial and class online discussion guidelines

Give students the URL of your "room"- have them enter. I require students to use their REAL names.

Briefly talk about Todaysmeet and how the online discussion will work (if you've never used it in class before).

Establish guidelines/expectations for students. (School appropriate, at least 5 comments and 3 response to other comments, etc.)

Student Instructions

Go to the URL and enter the room.

Adhere to the established expectations for the online discussion.

3 Facilitate the online discussion

Participate in the online discussion along with the students- this is a great time to model the type of comments students should be making.
