1 Direct instruction: Students choose topic and read article.
Students read an article about an aspect of the Qin dynasty.
2 Group work
Students joined a group of classmates that read the same article, then decided who would be responsible for which part of the article. Then, students created a google presentation collaboratively with other students who read the same article.

Students view the teacher web page on weebly and take notes on the different presentations and grade Emperor Qin on the report card.
