How I Use It
I would use this product by letting each student play at their own pace and according to their own skill level by having them play games against the A.I. Once the students become familiar with the game, the students can then play the game in groups to encourage teamwork.
My Take
The game many systems teach students how to better multi-task as well as resource management. The game allows students to take control of numerous civilizations that have existed during human history. Civilization 6 is a useful resource in teaching students about history as the game has an encyclopedia documenting the real life history of the civilizations the students play as. In addition, the game teaches students about strategy due to the many ways to ensure their civilization's victory. Victory can be achieved through scientific breakthroughs, culturally, diplomatically or even through war. Civ 6 reminds me of a large chess game with many different mechanics and is one of the games that is very engaging and useful in letting the students educate themselves.
