How I Use It
Teaching United States History can be fun and interesting with an interactive app. The maps, people, and vocabulary can be used to build upon existing lessons or introduce a new time period of history. Students who enjoy interactive computer games were immediately engaged. However, a few of the other students took longer to get involved and needed more direction to begin searching the map.
My Take
This is a great individual teaching tool for history. Students are able to explore, while receiving vocabulary and content. However, I believe this teaching tool should be coupled with instruction and evaluation to ensure that enough content is delivered.
