How I Use It
After reviewing material for current events, I used this product with a small group who volunteered to try the program. There are many real life simulations to choose and all have detailed ancillary materials to help guide the player(s). It does not shy away from real life...and it should not have to. To extend the lesson, students had to research a current conflict from around the world and write a reaction comparing it to the game.
I feel that the game would be better targeted for high school students. It takes some time to orient yourself to the game program, but once done, it is a great extension to topics from around the world. A drawback, particularly to educators, is that cost and accessibility to all students at the same time.
