How I Use It
We used Dreambox at my school as a Tier II intervention in grades 3-5 to support our students who weren't quite making proficiency, but were close. The hardest part is implementing with fidelity. The program doesn't work if students aren't using it the way its meant to be used and that does take some time to ensure.
I think Dreambox is a great tool. I wish we could use it as a tier I support for all students because I think every student would really benefit from using Dreambox. The data that is provided is actionable and in real-time. You can see specific skills your students are struggling with, create flexible small groups to target specific skills and relate it to the NWEA scores as well.
