We partnered with Radio Rookies and the McBurney YMCA Y Scholars to pilot Common Sense’s newly developing Digital Citizenship Informal Learning Kit, designed to provide afterschool and informal learning spaces with flexible, relevant and easy to use digital citizenship resources.

As part of their culminating projects each Radio Rookies group created a multi-media piece explaining a digital citizenship topic. Their final video and radio pieces covered topics like oversharing and your online reputation, as well as copyright issues, bootlegging, and the world of remixing.

One of the groups interviewed people on the street about the subject of oversharing. How do you determine what's appropriate to share and what's not?

In another video, the group explored their online reputations and that of others. How does what you put online reflect on how people view you every day?

We’d love to hear your reactions to these pieces, and if you create your own projects, share them with us here. We're happy to highlight your voices and work!
