At the beginning of August, the education conference #140edu was held in New York City and provided an opportunity for educators, students, and parents to discuss the impact of the web on education. The conference fixated on issues such as social media in schools, education reform, and most topics involved with teaching and learning in the 21st century.
Tali Horowitz, former teacher and current Education Program Manager for Common Sense Media, shared her voice on the topic of major privacy issues. Her presentation delivers interesting facts, tips on how to take action, and she even touches base on the recent Common Sense Media privacy campaign.
