Share your ideas and get valuable tips from your colleagues around the world.
On Common Sense Education, thousands of educators are sharing best practices in our discussion forums, creating tech-rich lesson plans, and rating and reviewing classroom tech tools. These educators know all about the best edtech resources to implement in the classroom and how to hook students by creating content that is both engaging and interactive. So why not get everyone in one place to share ideas and expertise?
On the first Wednesday of every month at 4 p.m. Pacific time, join us for #CSedchat, cohosted by @CommonSenseEd and a different Common Sense Education Certified Educator each month. From storytelling tools to clever classroom hacks, share your ideas and get valuable tips and resource recommendations from your colleagues around the world.
Celebrations in the Classroom with Sara Abou Afash
Don't miss our second #CSedchat on Wednesday, May 4, from 4–5 p.m. Pacific time. Cohost Sara Abou Afash (@susa_af), a Ph.D. student in STEM education, will lead a discussion of ways to implement celebrations in the classroom. We'll explore different forms of celebrations that happen in school and how teachers can get involved. We'll also consider whether celebrating success has a negative effect on students.
If you missed last month's chat with Lisa Suhr on ways to incorporate storytelling in the classroom, you can read the recap on Storify.
Hope to see you at the Twitter chat! If you'd like to get involved with the chats and possibly cohost with us in the future, please email me, Erin Duncan, at [email protected].
