I always mention that the tool does not transform the classroom, the way we use the tool does! This app can be a "show-off" app but it can also be an amazing tool for a student-centered classroom to let students inquire, wonder and explore the natural life. It is a beautiful app, easy-to-use and motivating for students to learn more. I think, it is necessary to plan questions and real challenges for the students to go beyond the "wow-factor" and look for information and answers about questions related to the animals and to make them really look at the details of the animal's appearance.
After this exploration, the students can share their photo with the animal and explain (using a journal like seesaw) what they have learnt.
