How I Use It
TouchCast works very well as a review tool. Teachers and students can create short review videos for upcoming assessments. Students will always have access to the videos if they need a quick refresher about a topic. Most of the videos I have my students make are in small groups which seems to work the best. Be sure to place high ability students with lower ability students to ensure every group can produce a video.
I enjoy using TouchCast as a review tool for my history class. Students take the content covered in class and create short review videos that are laced with pictures/websites/graphs. The videos are stored on TouchCast's servers so students always have access to the material. The only downfall of TouchCast is sometimes the app force closes on students, causing them to delete and reinstall the app. This in turn deletes any material they haven't uploaded to TouchCast's server.
