Overall Rating
3

Engagement Is the product stimulating, entertaining, and engrossing? Will kids want to return?
4

Choosing from 16 fun, quirky writing textures and 28 writing paper backgrounds makes Touch and Write lots of fun, while the monster-and-cupcake guides and rewards continue the interesting design throughout the tracing experience.

Pedagogy Is learning content seamlessly baked-in, and do kids build conceptual understanding? Is the product adaptable and empowering? Will skills transfer?
3

Useful letter, number, and word tracing, or individualized writing practice via custom word lists. The guides won't let kids trace incorrectly, as they respond to errors by deleting tracing back to the last correct step.

Support Does the product take into account learners of varying abilities, skill levels, and learning styles? Does it address both struggling and advanced students?
2

Touch and Write provides no data on letters, numbers, or words completed, time spent on app, or common errors. Tutorial found in the "info" section alongside promos for the developer's other apps.
