How I Use It

We have done any of the in-app purchases, which I believe allows for more "themes". However, the kids enjoy what we have in the free version. I find that a guided lesson using the app is helpful to be sure that students are using it purposely. This app is engaging for all the grades I work with from K-3.

My Take

I love the structured format of this app. It walks the kids through the components of a story and provides engaging characters and props to help them create a story. I also love that kids can "animate" their characters and record their voice. The feature that lets them "draw" their own characters and props also really encourages creativity and a story that is entirely personalized.
