How I Use It
We study states in grades 3 and 4. I let the kids use it when they are finished with their work or if I need to have the kids in a roation or stations for an activity. Basically it is a fun game for practice with knowledge of states. It has some learning value, but no creativity. Kids do enjoy playing together, but it it would be a stretch to call it collaborative.
My Take
This game is fun and certainly engaging, but without a solid knowledge of state facts it is pretty random in terms of learning. It is ok for reinforcement and enhancement if you are teaching a unit on the United States.
