How I Use It
This app allows students to have access to the images, videos, documents that are on the teacher's workstation. They can manipulate, adjust, and make changes from their devices at their own work spaces. It lets teachers monitor all students from one spot, and give feedback quickly. The draw back is that it takes the personal touch and proximity out of teaching. Instead on having the one-to-one conversation, you interact through a computer. Many students were intrigued, but after a while were asking for more personal assistance. Having a special education class, this isn't the type of learning they are accustom to and it took some time to get them comfortable with it.
I have used Google Classroom and Google Docs, both I find more user friendly. I am not a big fan of interacting through a computer, but understand that this is the way education is going. The students were engaged, but missed the personal touch of a teacher by their side giving them the one to one attention and help they needed.
