How I Use It

We have used Skitch to teach third grade mapping skills - students can mark neighborhood landmarks, map a room in their house, and then graduate to mapping historical events.

My Take

Skitch is a simple concept - write and draw over an image or map. It is exactly the kind of open ended app that leads to some of the best classroom technology projects. The feature allowing students to grab a map image to annotate is especially useful in the social studies classroom.
