How I Use It

I used it with intermediate students. They enjoyed exploring the app first by using the templates to make an All About Me book that was silly. Then I was able to ask for higher level thinking and more sophisticated writing. Students liked being able to use their own photos or pictures saved in their camera roll for their books if they did not want to draw or use stickers. It takes a few more steps than I would like for students to be able to share their books with me, though I am glad it is not easy to share with the outside world.

My Take

I like this app for use in the classroom at the beginning of the year. It is easy to use and the students enjoyed using it. As the year progresses I move on to other apps such as iMovie so that they have even more control over their product and more options for sharing. I would like it to be more classroom/teacher friendly for in-house sharing and assessment.
