How I Use It
Privacy Camp is a series of 5 short animated videos with important messages about protecting privacy online. Because it does not include any followup activities or questions for discussions, it would be best used to introduce these topics before moving on to engage with them further. The interface is very simple to use -- just a menu with each of the 5 videos assigned a large button. Privacy Camp is targeted for students in grades 3-5, but those on the upper end of this range may find it too juvenile.
My Take
This app lacks any depth. The videos carry important messages, but there is no way for students to engage with and internalize the concepts. Mini-quizzes or other questions at the end of each video would help students to retain the information presented.
