How I Use It
The app is a quick audience response tool.
The app is great at the few things it does, but don't expect anything else. The teacher ask multiple choice questions (4 or 5 responses), true/false questions, can request text responses, or have students send images.
Pros: Simple, no frills, response tool. No sign-in required for students (only need class code to connect). Two rather unique features allow for students to send up to 40 character text responses as well as annotated images. Students are able to either create drawings on their devices or take/use pictures and draw on top of them if desired.
Cons: There is no way for the teacher to pre-determine the questions or type them into the app for students to view; all the student sees on their device is the response options. Questions would have to be displayed in another format (PPT or Google Slides) causing an issue with switching back and forth to see student responses. Responses are not recorded in the app, but can be connected to Evernote to export the results
