How I Use It
This resource provides students with math facts fluency practice in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Students work as spies to defeat Dr. Odd and earn spy gear by solving math problems. There are more than 100 timed missions, with training runs to help struggling students prepare for future missions. My students love the challenge of completing missions and earning gear. I have used this resource for fluency practice in my classroom. The app provides the ability to create three custom player profiles on one device, a problem in a classroom where students need to share a device.
My Take
This is a great app for developing facts fluency. There is language support for struggling readers, as the written missions are read aloud to students. This makes the more sophisticated feel of this resource accessible and engaging for all of my third graders (as well as some of my more competent second graders in my multi-grade class).
