How I Use It
This is a wonderful app that serves as a reliable database from the New York Public Library about the 1939-1940 World's fair in Queens, NY. The app organizes information wonderfully into different themes that students can use to gain insight into different specific aspects of the world at this time. This is a great tool for letting students engage with history as well as having them learn and even find primary sources for assignments.
My Take
This is a great tool for encouraging student engagement with the material as well as fostering real knowledge gain. The only thing I would recommend is more of an option to collaborate between students, as this is really not supported by the app. It is very much intended for more of an individual learning experience, which is great if thats what your classroom is designed for!
