How I Use It
I needed to get an entire grade (500 students) to create accounts, log on and become familiar with Noodletools. I created and presented a Nearpod presentation. The best part of using Nearpod is it allows the students to not only have the presentation right in front of them, but I could include practice activities in order to monitor their progress and understanding while presenting. This allowed me to address any confusion in real time, and clear up any issues which may cause problems down the road.
I LOVE using Nearpod. The interactive features are my favorite part. Students can truly work through the presentation as an entire group as well as have individual time to go through particular aspects at their own pace. An email with a link can be sent to any student who is absent. Which brings me to the part I do not like. Certain aspects of the app are in the paid for version. The free version is useful, but to enjoy all the features, you must pay the subscription fee.
