Easy App and Interface for Early Childhood Story Writing

How I Use It

I found it an easy application to use. I have used it with second graders to created an audio book about what they hoped to learn in second grade They were able to take their own picture and narrate their story. I also used it with third graders for a state research project. I have usually done this project as a written report. I did find that using this app generated a greater interest in the children. They loved it. However, I did want them to do some writing for the report and this is where I found the text usage to be very limited. It really does not allow the students to write more than one sentence without the text getting too small on the page. You cannot exit or format the writing. Next I will try it with the younger students - kindergarten or first grade. They won't write as much as the third graders.
