Teacher Review For More Trucks -- by Duck Duck Moose

Simple game to amuse preschoolers, although it is not very educational.

How I Use It
This game is for preschoolers. They start with 1 monster truck and can earn more trucks by completing races. The controls are very simple and all the child needs to do is press an arrow to make the truck go forward or backward or up to jump. My preschool age son, who is relatively new to technology, needed some assistance with the jumping the first few times he played. He was able to make the truck go, but not jump and go simultaneously. A child who is more practiced on ipads/ tablets would be able to do it easily.
My Take
While this app was in the "educational" section, I did not find many educational components. It does work on hand eye coordination, and reaction time (as most video games do), it also minimally involves counting as children can earn gold coins and there is a running tally of said coins. So while I wouldn't use this app as a teaching tool, it certainly could be used as a reward or break time activity.
