How I Use It
Students can use this resource to practice basic math facts skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division), which aligns with the Common Core standards. Eighty-four levels for each operation means the resource can meet the needs of students with a variety of ability levels. I bought the app for my classroom iPad for Halloween, and my students were all over it! They have really enjoyed it for several months now. The resource really seems to keep them engaged.
This resource is designed for student practice. It is not designed to enhance mathematical understanding. The resource includes a detailed Report Card section where the teacher can monitor one student's practice. However, if students need to share a device, report cards are only available for a few students and you need to reset to start the leveling again for a new student. If you want a simple practice program that grabs kids' attention, this might be it.
