How I Use It

My students used this app to practice their addition and subtraction skills. The great thing about it is that five students can play on one app. The graphics are simple and clear. The great part of this app is the many levels that can use the app (Levels 1-8) which makes this app great for differentiation. This is a game for one student a a time. There are two modes "Story Mode" and "Practice Mode."

My Take

My students enjoyed playing the game. I like the many levels the game offers because it offers differentiation. This app was great to practice addition and math skills, but it also offers multiplication and division. This is an app that grows with the students. What I loved: That I can go into the app and see how the students did with their practice. It tells how many "flights" or games the students played, total points earned, equations solved, percent correct, and how many in a row the students were able to get correct. This as a teacher is a wonderful tool to help monitor students.
