How I Use It

I used this app as a way students could present a research project to the class. I did a PBL where students could choose the type of technology and app/program to present their research project and about half of the students chose to use Keynote. This was a quick and easy way for the students to create a presentation using iPads or iPods or iPhones so they didn't have to sit at a desktop to create a slideshow. This app is very user-friendly that all technology level students can quickly understand and use on the spot. I would like to use this app again as a presentation tool, but require it for all students so they can experience it and later choose which tool they prefer.

My Take

I think this is a wonderful app for students to use to create a presentation. Keynote is easy for teachers to use and is easy to teach students to use in the classroom. I personally like apps that students, and myself can quickly pick up and create with so that it won't take up too much valuable class time. I also think this is great to use in the classroom because you don't have to have a computer lab or set of iPads, you can have students use their own personal devices to create a presentation.
