How I Use It

I use IXL as we are doing Math Tubs at the beginning of our Math session, in small groups to practice skills we have taught and also to assess the skill and check for mastery.

My Take

I love this tool to see the child's engagement and have a quick tool to see how well they have mastered the concept. It is also very easy to place the children on their individual level.

This is an excellent web site for my Kindergarten students to practice skills that we are working on. They like to work for "prizes" and see their progress. As a teacher, it is also a great tool to assess how well they have mastered the concept.
